' It's a good feeling': Greater Cleveland Food Bank gives out complimentary Thanksgiving meals

CLEVELAND - - SkyFox is the only way we can really show you the number of automobiles lining up to enter into the Muni Lot. All of them waited to get an opportunity to get a contributed Thanksgiving meal from the Greater Cleveland Food Bank..

Some, like Elenor Watson, waited in line for hours to get a meal for another family in requirement.

" It's a true blessing from the Lord. That's what it is. It's genuinely a blessing," Watson said.

Others, like Thomas Hine, waited to help offer this special meal for his family.

" It's a good sensation. Everybody gets together and you get to have a good meal together," Hine said.

With the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Karen Pozna says this is among her preferred days of the year..

Due to the fact that this donation drive will offer meals to around 5,000 households in the location, that's.

" To see first-hand who is getting this food, the smile on their faces, to see how grateful they are ... It's just truly touches me," Pozna stated..
