AVON, Ind.-- Avon police are seeking to jail a regional guy after he apparently got into a coworker's house today to carry out an exorcism on someone he believed was had.
An active arrest warrant has actually been issued for Robert Nalker, a 38-year-old Avon man who has been charged in Hendricks County with felony property entry, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Avon Police Department officers are now seeking to detain Nalker.
The charges versus Nalker come from an incident early Tuesday early morning where APD was called to a home for a possible continuous theft. The caller told 911 dispatch around 1:20 a.m. that a guy had burglarized their home and was shrieking.
Officers got here and found a white 2005 Prius in the driveway that was still running. On the front porch, authorities reached the victim who stated that a male they called Robbie was inside and must not be.
APD said officers screamed inside for the male to come out and that ultimately Nalker, who was covered in blood, walked outside and said "I lost my sunglasses." When asked why he was bleeding, Nalker supposedly stated he needed to break in the window to carry out an exorcism.
While being handcuffed, Nalker supposedly said he came to your home alone and kept repeating "she hasn't been stabbed" and "she's had." Officers also stated Nalker asked to go within, discover his CD and "play track number 3 to save her."
Nalker, who was bleeding from a cut on his head, kept shouting and informed officer to leave of him and not to "look in his f *** ing eyes."
Officers talked with the victim, who stated they 'd known Nalker because 2002 and that they interacted at Chick-fil-A. The victim stated Nalker would send out strange text messages about "not listening to Spotify."
While browsing your house, officers discovered that a window was broken in the dining room by the back door. Glass was shattered and a big trail of blood was on the ground from the window to the kitchen. On the island, they discovered a bloody CD and CD case together with a paper towel.
Downstairs, officers discovered that your home's home entertainment and stereo system had been thrown around and broken. On the forecast screen, there was apparently an attempt to spell a word starting with the letter R in blood. A set of bloody sunglasses were also found downstairs.
Nalker was apprehended and taken by medics to Hendricks Regional Health Hospital in Danville for an evaluation. Eventually, a doctor admitted Nalker due to his frame of mind.
