SHEPHERD, Texas (BNN)-- Multiple fire agencies utilized foam to consist of a big plant fire along FM 1127 in Shepherd, Texas, Wednesday morning that left one employee hurt.

The source said the hurt staff member was taken to Memorial Hermann with second-degree burns to his arms and first-degree burns to his face.
The owner of Sound Resource Solutions verified there was a forklift event and said the worker suffered a minor injury and is being dealt with at the medical facility.

School districts affected
The San Jacinto County Office of Emergency Management stated 31 trainees at Wildwood Private School situated along FM 1127 were securely evacuated through a pasture by 9:15 a.m. Shepherd ISD sent the following declaration following the evacuation:.

In an update, Shepherd ISD officials said there are about 1900 kids in the district and are all in class. All trainees are reportedly safe and no longer needed to shelter in location. The district said it is not releasing moms and dads but trainees who would like to get their child might do so at the campus front offices.
"Goodrich ISD has reached our evacuation point at Onalaska ISD. You might choose up your kid at 1855 FM 3459, Onalaska, TX 77360, at the junior/senior high school arena.
Livingston ISD stated it put all campuses on hold out of an abundance of caution and utilized emergency situation procedures to guarantee student and staff security.

The Polk County Sheriff'& #x 27; s Office likewise reported that traffic was shut down at US-190 and United States- 59. Depending on which way you are taking a trip, motorists will be rerouted to State Highway 156 or I-45.
FM 3278 is apparently not open to traffic unless evidence of residency is offered.
