Akron investigators are attempting to piece together what led up to the shooting of a 13-year-old boy.
Officers at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, reacted to a report of a shooting at a home in the 1100 block of Ericsson Avenue, which is near Hillwood Park. However they didn't find anyone there, according to a Monday news release

They later on found out a 13-year-old with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound had actually been transferred to a local healthcare facility in a personal car.
