LEXINGTON, Ky. (BNN)-- Four males were jailed on Wednesday after gunshots were fired near Lansdowne Elementary.
Lexington police said officers were dispatched around 2:30 a.m. Monday in response to a call of shots fired in the location of Lansdowne Drive.
Authorities stated officers were able to discover "where the gunfire had originated from" in the 3400 block of Ormond Circle.
According to law enforcement, officers jailed Luis Edel, 22; Elias Loeza-Zapl, 29; Adaias Lopez-Perez, 37; and Daniel Vill Egaz, 27.

Each of the 4 were charged with:
- Seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer
- Two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment
- One count of first-degree criminal mischief
- One count of discharging a gun in city limitations
