A Sneak Peek at Lubbock Master Gardener Spring Plant Sale

A Sneak Peek at Lubbock Master Gardener Spring Plant Sale

It & #x 2019; s that time of year when the days are getting longer, the weather condition is heating up, and everyone in Lubbock wants to be spending more time outside.
Among my preferred spring activities is preparing and planting a gorgeous garden that you can delight in through the warm months. From herbs, flowers, veggies, and more, there are a lot of excellent plants you can grow.
While you might spend the majority of your time shopping at big-box stores like Lowes or Home Depot for your spring garden, I highly recommend shopping regional.

A fantastic method to do that is at the Lubbock Master Gardener Plant Sale. The sale will occur at the Hodges Community Center at 4011 University Ave on April 20th, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m
. This is a big event for the organization that takes place each spring and enables the Lubbock community to get together a look for some in your area grown plants.
They posted a sneak peek of what will be for sale at this event on their Facebook page, and it appears like a great mix. There is whatever from basil, peppers, spider plants, caladium, jade, tomatoes, dahlias, cactus, thyme, mint, and more.
I believe a salsa garden is a terrific choice here in Lubbock if you aren & #x 2019; t sure what to get. You can likewise start little with a couple of herbs that would be terrific to use in the kitchen. Or snag a couple of gorgeous blooming plants to contribute to your home & #x 2019; s flower beds. The alternatives are unlimited!
