Authorities in Monson recovered a stolen handgun and a piece of body armor early Tuesday following a report of a disturbance, according to local law enforcement.
The incident unfolded shortly before 1:30 a.m. on June 11th. Police were dispatched to the area of Main Street following calls about a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with several individuals.
During their investigation at the scene, law enforcement officials located and seized a handgun that had previously been reported as stolen. A tactical vest, commonly referred to as body armor, was also recovered by the responding officers.
