Brooklyn Male Charged in Jersey City Sexual Attack

Authorities have detained a Brooklyn man in a case of sexual assault.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit arrested Raul Pena, 31, the other day, for dedicating a sex criminal activity on a female in Jersey City.

The alleged crime took place on August 20 at a house in Jersey City. The 29-year-old victim met the accused through an associate in the hours leading up to the assault..

Pena is charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault. He was arrested at his house with the support of the NYPD Special Victims Unit and is being detained at Brooklyn Central Booking pending extradition to New Jersey..
