Bull charges police officer during truck rollover

QUEENSLAND, Australia-- An angered bull charged at an officer who responded to a livestock truck rollover.

It happened in Australia in July, however police simply launched the video this week.

The video reveals three officers gathered around the reversed truck, assessing the circumstance.

Unexpectedly, without caution, the bull charges at one of the officers, violently ramming into him and stomping on him.

Astonishingly, the officer handled to survive the brutal attack due to the security offered by his Integrated Load Bearing Vest (ILBV), cops say.

"Without it, the officer might have suffered dangerous injuries or even worse," it said in a news release.

"Obviously the policing job is quite diverse-- you never ever know what you're going to get on a day-to-day basis. That was pretty unforeseen, and I'll confess, it was a bit of a shock," the officer said after the incident.
