Captured on camera: Lots of Halloween outfits taken from Solon store


SOLON, Ohio – – Solon authorities need your assistance in recognizing a minimum of 4 women implicated of stealing dozens of Halloween outfits from a local shop last week.

Shop security cameras were rolling as the four ladies went into the Spirit Halloween shop in Solon around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Video reveals the females walking and start filling their baskets with products.

Solon Police say the suspects managed to get away with at least 50 outfits.

" A great deal of people pay their hard earned money to buy costumes and enjoy the vacation," stated Lt. William Vajdich with the Solon Police Department.

Witnesses outside told authorities they saw the ladies driving away in a brown Ford Edge SUV.

Now, Solon police are requesting the general public's assistance in identifying this group of thiefs.

Community prompts authorities to reopen examination in local hairdresser's death


"It appears like they have some experience. This wasn't their very first time shoplifting. they came here with a purpose and they did it," said Vajdich.

Cops state store staff members did the best thing by instantly calling authorities as soon as the group left.

Anyone with info is asked to call Solon cops.
