Cleveland Zoo to foster infant gorilla, wishing for bond


CLEVELAND, Ohio – – Big news for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo A baby gorilla who had a historic birth in Texas will be concerning Cleveland. The zoo will foster the 11-week-old in hopes one of the female gorillas will bond with her.

Child Jameela is now a happy and healthy 8-pound baby gorilla. She is a western lowland gorilla who has actually been raised by the staff in Fort Worth with ongoing care given that her birth. However the goal is to have her raised by gorillas.
