David Bugenske, the country radio on-air character who co-hosted Early mornings at Audacy Country on K-FROG 95.1, has actually left the station.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Bugenske mentioned his resignation with amicable words to his colleagues at the Inland Empire-based station and thanked the moms and dad company.
I do not even believe this warrants a post, other than to make sure that the terrific people there understand how much I value them. Kelli, you were best. I hope this business appreciates you more."
Bugenske joined the KFRG to group with Kelli "Green" Barajas in September 2019 and previously worked as early morning show producer/co-host for Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters Go Country 105 KKGO
Los Angeles from 2015-2019. His production functions include time at
Salem Media
Los Angeles, Premiere Networks, and Westwood One's "The Dennis Miller Show." The Florida Native also spent 6 years at 540 WFLF/106.7 WXXL
Orlando.
Audacy is now looking for applicants for his successor.
Back in September 2020, when Entercom Communications owned the station, K-FROG went through a big shakeup as there were a number of shifts in skill, consisting of the loss of longtime DJ Ginny Harman.
