Denver weather condition: Winter season storm cautioning extended to metro, 6-14 inches of snow possible


DENVER (BNN)-- A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Saturday and Sunday as Denver's weather will get colder through the weekend and snow showers will relocate.

A winter storm warning was reached include the Denver city from 6 a.m. Saturday to midday on Sunday. Snow overalls of 6-14 inches are possible and could result in harmful travel conditions.

Weather condition tonight: Mountain snow



Friday night, as a system moves through Colorado, clouds will increase ahead of snowfall.

Snowfall will begin in the high country, then showers will develop into the city late Friday night into Saturday early morning. Temperature levels will be chilly and be up to the 20s.

Weather condition tomorrow: Cold temperatures and snow



Saturday, Denver will get up to a couple of showers and much colder temperatures. The chance for a couple of snow showers will continue throughout the day as highs reach the 30s.

Sunday, the Pinpoint Weather Alert Day continues. Sunday morning, Denver will get up to a couple of more snow showers and low temperatures in the teens to low 20s.
