In an inspiring move to bolster the arts community, a total of 32 nonprofit organizations in West Tennessee are set to receive a remarkable $86,080 in grants from ARTSmemphis, a dynamic nonprofit dedicated to promoting the arts throughout the Mid-South. This funding initiative is part of the renowned Arts Build Communities (ABC) program, created to enhance accessibility, improve quality of life, and ensure the sustainability of local arts organizations.

In this latest round of funding, 32 organizations will benefit from the ABC grants, with awards capped at $5,000 per recipient. Rouse expressed her pride in the growth of ABC grant recipients this year, stating, "Thanks to the generosity of the Tennessee Arts Commission, we’ve been able to increase our maximum grants from $3,500 to $5,000 per organization for the second consecutive year, allowing us to expand support to even more counties in West Tennessee."
