As the November 5th election draws near, the mayoral race in the City of El Paso is heating up. Two candidates have reported impressive fundraising numbers, while others are lagging behind. Let's take a closer look at the financial side of the campaign:
Top Fundraisers:
- Renard Johnson: $297,920.50 in contributions, with $187,693.96 in expenditures
- Brian Kennedy: $152,752.91 in contributions, with $181,000 in outstanding loans
Other Candidates:
- Cassandra Hernandez: $1,500.00 in contributions, $1,302.37 in expenditures
- Steven Winters: Zero balances in all categories
- Marco Contreras, Jacob Chavira, and Roberto Ryan Houle: No campaign finance reports filed
