Disneyland rolls back undesirable Galaxy's Edge rate hikes from Chapek age

Disneyland has actually silently rolled back unpopular cost hikes on already pricey lightsabers and androids in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge that were instituted throughout the last months of Disney's previous CEO Bob Chapek's period.

Disneyland has actually dropped costs on the lightsaber-building experience at Savi's Workshop from $250 to $220 and on the astromech-assembling experience at Droid Depot from $120 to $100.

Disneyland has changed pricing on the lightsaber-building and droid-assembling experiences in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge after further evaluation and guest feedback, according to Disneyland officials.

Disneyland increased costs 20% on the lightsaber and android structure experiences in October, simply a month before Chapek was fired by Disney and replaced by previous CEO Bob Iger.

The rate reductions bring the twin Star Wars experiences back to their previous costs before the October walkings.

When Galaxy's Edge opened in 2019 at Disneyland, the Savi's Workshop experience cost $200 and the Droid Depot experience cost $100.

Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida still uses the lightsaber-building experience at $250 and the droid-assembling experience at $120.

Rate increases were a continual source of problems for Disneyland and Disney World visitors during Chapek's reign at the helm of the Disney business.

In early January, Disney authorities announced Disneyland will provide nearly 2 months of dates in 2023 with everyday tickets at $104. That's about 50% more dates at the most affordable price for a one-day, one-park admission to the Anaheim theme park.
