Big news for food lovers in Edinburg! On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Panera Bread will officially open its doors, marking a delicious milestone as the first bakery-café in the Rio Grande Valley. This much-anticipated opening is not just about serving fresh food; it’s expected to create up to 50 new jobs in the area!

What to Expect on Opening Day

The grand opening will be celebrated over two exciting days, October 15 and 16. The first 50 guests each day will be treated to a year's worth of free "Your Pick Two" meals, allowing them to indulge in a delightful combination of:

  • Soups
  • Salads
  • Sandwiches
  • And other scrumptious menu items!

Location and Hours

You can find the new Panera Bread at 201 E. Trenton Road. The bakery-café will have convenient hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Another Location Coming Soon

But that’s not all! A second Panera Bread location is in the works for McAllen, expected to open at 2800 W. Expressway 83 sometime in November. This expansion reflects the growing popularity of the brand in the region.
