Get ready to roll out the red carpet, Fort Worth! The Lone Star Film Festival is back, and it's bigger and better than ever. Running from October 31 to November 4, this cinematic extravaganza is set to transform the Cultural District into a vibrant hub of creativity and storytelling.
This year's festival is not just about watching films—it's about immersing yourself in the art of filmmaking. Chad Mathews, the executive director of the festival, emphasizes the unique opportunity to connect with filmmakers and hear their inspiring stories. Here’s what to expect:

Where: Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell St. and Kimbell Art Museum, 3333 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth.
Admission: $10 per screening or $300 for an all-access pass if purchased by October 31; $350 after October 31.
Attendees will have the chance to support local talents, including Fort Worth native Greg Kwedar. His acclaimed film, “Sing Sing”, which explores the life of a wrongly imprisoned inmate, will feature a Q&A session with Kwedar and co-writer Clint Bentley.
