The Findlay Automotive Group has partnered with Real Talk, a Southern Nevada not-for-profit dedicated to helping at-risk youth in the neighborhood.
Real Talk creator Sheree Corniel has more than 20 years in law enforcement. Throughout that time, Corniel became totally familiar with the penal system and the recidivism rate of children and grownups who go through it. Corniel was inspired to develop Real Talk, which intends to keep children from ever entering "the system" by revealing them there are favorable choices.
For the previous 10 years, Real Talk has affected over 2,043 kids. And Real Talk has actually provided athletic sponsorships for youth leading to $216,000 worth of scholarships.
Corniel stated her slogan is, "If you're not part of the option, you're part of the issue." The power and influence of giving individual attention is Real Talk's objective and objective.
" We're happy to support Real Talk Youth Impact Program," Tyler Corder, CFO of Findlay, said. "Their program gives hope and opportunities to disadvantaged youth in our community. Without Real Talk, much of these youths would not have any positive influences in their lives.
