Get Ready to Celebrate: The Exciting Parade Awaits!

Illuminate Your Night: The Spectacular Return of the Eugene BRiGHT Parade!

In the vibrant city of Eugene, a dazzling event is set to light up the night! The second annual Eugene BRiGHT Parade is back, promising an unforgettable experience filled with creativity, community spirit, and, of course, breathtaking art. After a triumphant debut in 2022, this year’s parade is poised to be even more spectacular!

A Night to Remember

Last year, Jerril Nilson of JLN Design received the coveted David Hauser Business of the Year award, and she had a wish that sparked a community celebration. “I said, ‘Before I die, I want a parade,’” recalls Nilson. True to her word, she teamed up with Jenette Kime to orchestrate a nighttime spectacle that transformed downtown Eugene into a canvas of illuminated artistry.

What to Expect This Year

This year’s parade, themed “LiGHTEN UP,” promises to be a feast for the senses. With 27 entries expected, attendees can look forward to:

  • **Marching bands and units** bringing rhythm and energy.
  • **Electric vehicles** from the Emerald Valley Electric Vehicle Association showcasing eco-friendly innovation.
  • The fabulous **SLUG queens** adding a touch of whimsy.
  • **Dancing performances** from Next Step Dance Studio.
  • The enchanting **witches of Eugene Hexenbrut** captivating the crowd.
  • Last year’s **“Best in Show”** winners, Comunidad y Herencia Cultural, returning to dazzle.
  • Delicious offerings from local **food vendors** and lively **music**.
