Get reduced tickets, giveaways at Akron Zoo Senior Citizen Safari


AKRON, Ohio - - It's almost time for the Akron Zoo Senior Safari!


Provided by SummaCare, the Akron Zoo Senior Safari is a popular senior occasion that offers those age 62 and older discounted admission to the zoo, according to a release from the Akron Zoo.

The occasion will occur on Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m

. According to the release, admission will cost elders only $7 for the day. Caretakers can enter into the zoo for $9.

The Senior Safari will not only have animals but likewise vendors throughout the park, free gifts, free coffee and a lunch unique in the zoo's Komodo Kingdom Café.

According to the zoo, a minimal variety of wheelchairs are available for electric and totally free scooters are offered for $27.
