Henderson man killed in south valley crash


LAS VEGAS (BNN) – – A 53-year-old male from Henderson has actually died following a single-vehicle crash in the south Las Vegas valley, according to authorities.

It happened on Sunday, March 3, at around 11:18 a.m., the Nevada State Police reacted to a report of a crash near I-15 and Silverado Ranch Boulevard south off-ramp.

The driver was identified as Paul James De Michele, a 53-year-old male from Henderson, Nevada, according to Nevada State Police.

De Michele was driving a van taking a trip south on I-15 stopped working to preserve its lane and traveled into the left shoulder, striking the left concrete barrier wall with the left front of the van, according to NSP.

The van came to rest beside the concrete wall on the far left shoulder near IR15 and the Silverado Ranch Blvd, south off-ramp. De Michele was found to be medical and unresponsive assistance was rendered on scene. He was taken to a location health center where he was noticable dead.

The examination is being performed by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol – – Southern Command M.I.R.T (Multidisciplinary Investigation & & Reconstruction Team). This marks the Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol-- Southern Command's 9th deadly crash, resulting in 9 fatalities for 2024.
