SOUTH LOS ANGELES (BNN)-- A pedestrian was noticable dead after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist and dragged for a number of blocks Tuesday early morning in South
Los Angeles.
The horrific crash took place quickly after 9 a.m. in the area of 117th Street and Broadway. After the effect, the driver continued for nearly three-quarters of a mile with the victim still connected to the vehicle.
The body was discovered at the intersection of El Segundo Boulevard and Broadway, in the Athens area. The victim was not instantly identified.
The suspect being looked for was described only as a man driving a blue and white Chevrolet van.
Los Angeles County Sheriff'& #x 27; s Department private investigators placed a personal privacy canopy over the victim'& #x 27; s body, and the intersection was closed to traffic.
