I-Team: Teenager suspect charged in fatal pursuit, crash

EUCLID, Ohio - - A 17-year-old Cleveland young boy is facing 10 criminal counts in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court stemming from Sunday's Euclid police chase which ended with the death of an innocent bystander in Cleveland.

According to records gotten by the BNN I-Team, the teenager is dealing with charges of murder, intensified vehicular homicide, failure to adhere to the order or signal of a police officer, felonious attack, getting taken residential or commercial property and poorly dealing with guns in a motor vehicle.

A gun was discovered in the stolen vehicle, police said. Cops stated there might be an additional suspect.

The chase began when Euclid authorities tried stopping a car that had actually been taken from two female victims at gunpoint in Cleveland on Friday.

The suspects declined to stop and led police on a high-speed chase. The chase ended when the suspects crashed into another vehicle, eliminating Wall.

Euclid Police Chief Scott Meyer stated he is devastated by Wall's death. When authorities try to stop them, he stressed suspects require to stop.

He added that his department routinely examines all pursuits and will evaluate this occurrence to ensure all policies were followed effectively.
