Sunland Park, N.M. - A man is currently in serious but stable condition after having both legs amputated, following a potential train accident, as reported by Sunland Park Fire Chief Danny Medrano.
The 'X' account was called out before 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to reports.
Sunland Park Police and U.S. Border Patrol were also on the scene at the railroad tracks near Mount Cristo Rey.
Chief Medrano mentioned to ABC-7 that the man was airlifted by Native Air and taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
