Infinity Sound Unveils Ambitious $4M Headquarters Project: A Game-Changer for Mansfield's Audiovisual Scene!

Exciting Developments: Infinity Sound Set to Build $4 Million Headquarters in Mansfield!

Big changes are coming to Mansfield, Texas, as Infinity Sound Ltd., a prominent audiovisual and theatrical lighting company, gears up to construct a brand-new headquarters facility. The company has announced plans for a massive 23,000-square-foot building at 411 Easy Drive, signaling its continued growth and commitment to the local community.

The Move: A Necessity for Growth

Currently based on Rendon Bloodworth Road, Infinity Sound has outgrown its existing location. President Max Curry explained the need for a new facility, stating, “We outgrew our current location.” The move is personal for Curry, whose family has deep roots in the area. “We have roots here,” he mentioned, noting that his wife has lived in the region since 1971.

Investing in the Future

Infinity Sound is not just relocating; it’s expanding significantly. With about 65 employees currently, the company aims to increase its workforce to over 100 as part of this new venture. Curry emphasized that the new headquarters is designed to enhance business operations. “As far as the workflow goes, it’s designed specifically to cater to our type of industry,” he said. This new facility will facilitate a streamlined process where products can efficiently move through the building.

Challenges Ahead

Despite the enthusiasm, the construction of the estimated $4 million headquarters has encountered delays. A ransomware attack on a cloud computing provider has pushed the timeline, with completion now expected by the end of 2025. The Mansfield City Council has granted $200,000 to support this economic development project, provided Infinity Sound maintains at least 55 employees and invests a minimum of $3.6 million in the facility.

A Thriving Creative Ecosystem

Infinity Sound's new headquarters will be strategically located next to a planned 72-acre film studio project by Super Studios USA, which is set to create approximately 2,000 jobs. This $70 million project will feature sound stages, hotels, restaurants, and retail spaces, providing a vibrant environment for film and production crews.

Opportunities for Collaboration

Curry sees this development as a chance for collaboration. His company specializes in LED lighting and rigging, making them an ideal partner for the upcoming film studio. “We obviously cater to that type,” he said, expressing hope for future business opportunities.

North Texas: A Historic Hub for Film

North Texas boasts a rich history in the film industry, with renowned films and shows like “Logan’s Run,” “Bonnie and Clyde,” and “Yellowstone” being filmed in the area. The film industry has contributed over $655 million and created more than 20,000 jobs in Fort Worth alone over the past eight years, showcasing the region's economic potential.

As Infinity Sound embarks on this transformative journey, the Mansfield community looks forward to the job creation and economic stimulation this project will bring. Will this development redefine the local economy and solidify Mansfield as a creative hotspot? Only time will tell!
