OLATHE, Kan. - - The legal team for Jackson Mahomes on Thursday filed a motion to seal documents in his criminal case for sexual battery charges from an occurrence previously this year.
Court documents in the event against Mahomes ended up being public last month. The affidavit offers extra details about the allegations that led to charges.
Mahomes is charged with 3 counts of worsened sexual battery. He is also charged with one count of battery.
According to the document,
Overland Park police reacted to Aspens Restaurant on Feb. 25, 2023, after a male reported Mahomes pushed his child.
As officers investigated the claim, they spoke with the lady who owns the dining establishment.
The lady then reported Mahomes supposedly grabbed her by the throat, forced her head back and kissed her 3 various times shortly prior to officers arrived, according to the affidavit.
She told investigators she did not grant any of the contact.
Mahomes will be in court once again on Aug. 31, 2023, for a preliminary hearing in the event.
