LAS VEGAS (BNN) - - A guy implicated of killing his ex-wife hours after losing to her in court deals with brand-new accusations of sexual attack against a child.
This week, a Clark County grand jury voted to prosecute Roidan Mendoza, 38, on charges of sexual attack against a minor and lewdness with a child, records stated. District attorneys announced the indictment Wednesday.
The indictment shows Mendoza's supposed victim was 14 years old at the time.
Last year, the grand jury prosecuted Mendoza on charges consisting of murder for the August shooting death of Marillorky Tamayo-Cruz, Mendoza's ex-wife. The shooting occurred at an apartment building on Jones Boulevard near Flamingo Road.
The 8 News Now Investigators first reported that Mendoza filed for divorce last July. Mendoza and his ex-wife were known to enter physical and verbal battles routinely, cops said. Records reveal Mendoza and his ex-wife shared custody of a 2-year-old kid.

On the early morning of the shooting, Mendoza and Tamayo-Cruz had a court look associated to their divorce. After the hearing, Tamayo-Cruz went to a relative's house in a 55-and-older community where she informed her household she won in court and was going to get the house, a truck and custody of the kids, according to an arrest report.
Later on in the day, Tamayo-Cruz was resting on the veranda with others when Mendoza showed up requesting for the secrets to their other car. Tamayo-Cruz told him that she did not want to offer him the vehicle because she had items in it.
The two got into an argument for about a minute before Mendoza started to climb up the balcony. Mendoza then ran around the building towards the front door. When they got to the front door they heard banging and what sounded like gunshots, authorities stated.
Tamayo-Cruz and her daughter locked themselves in a bed room. While they were concealing, Mendoza kicked in the bed room door and shot his ex-wife 3 times in the head, authorities stated.
Mendoza then left the child and the room got a knife from the kitchen area and stabbed him in the back. Mendoza then tried to press the blade into her chest but rather cut her hand.
Mendoza left the house before officers got here. Later that day, he showed up at LVMPD's Records and Fingerprints Bureau where he told authorities, "I eliminated my partner," officers said.
Mendoza remained in custody Wednesday without bail. He was set up to go back to court Thursday.
