As summer heats up, lifeguards across the region are gearing up for another busy season. Many are returning to their posts after winter breaks, while others are stepping into the role for the first time. Their mission? To keep swimmers safe and ensure a smooth operation at local pools.
Lifeguards undergo rigorous training before they’re cleared to work. Certification programs cover everything from CPR and first aid to advanced water rescue techniques. Many programs also include emergency scenario simulations, preparing lifeguards to act swiftly under pressure.
