SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) - - A strong Pacific storm and atmospheric river is expected to sweep the region Friday night through Monday, stated the National Weather Service.

The weather condition might damper weekend plans along with Easter celebrations.

As seen on the radar Friday morning, a low pressure system is moving southward from the Northern California coast. Local meteorologists state it's expected to sweep inland across Northern Baja and Southern California.
