Local man convicted of raping 12-year-old wanted by police


( BNN) – – A man convicted of raping a 12-year-old woman is desired by police in Ohio.

According to the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, a benefit is being offered for info that could lead to the capture of Daeron Slars. On March 25, officials determined Slars as their "Fugitive of the Week."

The 56-year-old is understood to frequent Cleveland and Lorain County areas, according to a press release. He is desired by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority and the United States Marshals Service for a parole violation. He is also desired by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office for failure to register as a sex culprit.

According to the Ohio sex transgressor website, Slars was founded guilty of rape in 2002. The victim was a 12-year-old girl. His last recognized address is listed on W. 160th Street in Cleveland.

Lady found dead on I-90 after 'unidentified problem'


Authorities explain Slars as 5 feet 11 inches and about 220 pounds. He has a tattoo of a tiger on his upper right arm, a tattoo of a snake and heart on his upper left arm, and a tattoo of a skull/animal on his chest.
