A male was killed in Little Rock in the morning hours of March 16, according to the Little Rock Police Department
Officers reacted to a call at 7100
Lancaster Road, a residential area near Wakefield Elementary School, around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Leonard Jones experiencing gunshot wounds.
Jones was carried to a regional health center where he caught his injuries, according to the LRPD. An examination is underway. No prospective suspects have been identified.

The Saturday homicide was the second of the week, following the death of a private at 1817 Reservoir Road on March 12. Around 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, officers discovered 20-year-old Jayshawn Hammock suffering from gunshot injuries.
According to a preliminary report from the LRPD, "There was a disturbance between two groups of shots and people were fired." No additional information were consisted of in the authorities report.
