(FOX40.COM) –– What began as a method to share his love for rare and personalized vehicles on social media turned into a movement to bring positivity into the Elk Grove community through a vacation toy drive.
" I started posting vehicle material on social networks just for the enjoyable of it," 23-year-old Elk Grove resident Baldeep Singh said to FOX40.com. "As I kept posting and progressed, many individuals began showing support."
In less than 2 years, Singh went from just a few fans on social media to nearly 90,000 individuals who anticipate his digital content.
Singh is now using his impact in the cars and truck scene to host a toy drive and cars and truck satisfy for the community he grew up in. It's scheduled to take place Dec. 16 at Elk Grove Dodge and is anticipated to consist of almost 100 program cars and trucks- some worth millions of dollars, local food vendors, and other members of the community who want to be a part of "doing great."

" I started publishing things you do not see every day like peanut-butter-colored vehicle interiors. It was a visual of somebody who strives and can pay for good things. I wanted to encourage individuals," Singh said.
Singh's most popular feature is his personalized Jeep Trackhawk which he named Toxichawk after a funny #staytoxic trend on social networks. Although he presents an extravagant lifestyle today- that wasn't always the case.
Singh comes from a family of immigrants from Punjab. He said his mom was a stay-at-home mother and his daddy attended to the household by working at restaurants, cutting turf, and doing whatever else he could do to attend to their family. Seeing his parents and others within his community strive influenced him to make something fantastic of himself.
" I succeeded in school and made some smart investments to get where I am today," Singh stated.
Singh is now a popular content creator and influencer on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Baldeep Singh says he came from humble beginnings and wants to motivate those who might look up to him.
" I was approached by a kid who recognized me on social media," Singh said. "He knew my name and whatever. He told me ‘‘ thank you for making turbans cool once again.'".
Singh stated that was a defining minute in the path he would later take. Without description Singh understood what the kid indicated by his declaration, and it was a psychological moment for him.

" It made me consider my past. When I was in elementary school and junior high there weren't lots of other Punjabi kids who wore a turban on school," Singh said. "I would get made fun of for my turban. It (turban) was constantly getting selected or plucked – – or informed it looked like a cupcake wrapper. Kids would attempt to pull it off.".
Singh stated when he was younger he wished to stop wearing his turban since of the struggles he dealt with, but as an adult wearing it is important to him. He said in his faith they believe that wisdom is kept in their head and hair signifies a connection to God. As a part of the faith, they use turbans to safeguard the sacredness of their hair from sun damage and other factors.
After he was approached by the kid, Singh stated he recognized he could make a larger effect in his community and decided to return to local kids who might appreciate him. The ‘‘ Toxichawk Toy drive & & Car Meet'.
" When I was a kid my family couldn't manage toys. I didn't understand it then, but we definitely had a hard time," Singh said.
When Singh approached him about hosting the occasion, Elk Gove Dodge General Manager Marino Vecchioli said he was honored. They met after Vecchioli offered Singh his latest Trackhawk.
" Charity has constantly been something we valued and got involved in over the years," Vecchioli told FOX40.com.
Vecchioli belongs of Knights Automotive Group which just recently bought out Lasher Auto, the previous owner of Elk Grove Dodge.
" We're new in the area and we thought this would be a terrific way to officially introduce ourselves to the community," Vecchioli said. "I got truly excellent vibes from Baldeep. He was extremely organized in his presentation and I thought the toy drive was a great cause to put our name on. Ideally, we can do it year after year.".
ToxicHawk Toy Drive & & Car Meet is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 8575 Laguna Grove Drive. All toy contributions will supposedly be provided to UC Davis Children's Hospital.
