A male was detained for extremely major charges while at a restaurant in South
Lubbock. The Texas Department of Public Safety made an arrest on Monday at a junk food restaurant in the 5100 block of 98th street. It was there that officers apprehended 28-year-old Tavian Garza who had actually been apprehended formerly for similar charges.
KAMC report that the federal court files state Garza was accused of sending out images that showed a kid under the age of 12-years-old being sexually abused. Garza was arrested on February 10, 2022 and was then rearrested on October 20, 2022 and charged with Possession of Child Pornography. & #xA 0; It wasn't until & #xA 0; January of 2023 that Garza was indicted for that February arrest.
Garza was charged with Receipt and Distribution of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography Involving a Prepubescent Minor. As & #xA 0; per the publishing of this article Garza remains in custody at the
Lubbock County Detention Center on a United States Marshall Remand.
