Maryland guy mistakenly replays 2 tickets, wins $2M in Powerball rewards


ANNAPOLIS, Md. (BNN)-- A Maryland "Power Couple" won not one, however 2 $1 million prizes on lotto tickets by accidentally replaying the very same Powerball numbers two times..

According to a press release from the Maryland Lottery, the couple from Anne Arundel County found out on April 2 that 2 $1 million winning Powerball tickets were cost one of their local lottery sellers for the April 1 drawing.

Later on that day, they learned they were the ones holding those winning tickets!


When there's a huge jackpot, the husband of the couple told the Maryland Lottery that he had a few Powerball tickets with number choices that he likes to replay.
