Mega Millions winner sues female for telling family about win

-- A guy who won a shocking $1.35 billion Mega Millions prize is suing his child's mother. He declares the female informed his household about the win, and by doing so breached a non-disclosure arrangement.

The guy, understood only as "John Doe," selected the one-time cash payment of $723.56 million, which would leave him with approximately $404 million after taxes. To preserve his privacy, he chose to claim the payouts under a trust.

According to court documents obtained by The Daily Beast, John Doe is now seeking damages from his child's mother, identified as "Sara Smith" in the lawsuit, for breaking a non-disclosure arrangement (NDA) they had actually signed.

The NDA, signed 2 weeks before the man declared his reward in February, needed Sara Smith to keep the lotto win a trick till their daughter reaches the age of 18 in June 2032. The function of this agreement was to safeguard John Doe's identity, physical location, properties, and their daughter from media and public attention, according to the Daily Beast.

In exchange for her compliance with the NDA, the guy agreed to supply Sara Smith with support and ongoing security resources.

Under the terms of the NDA, Sara Smith was needed to inform John Doe within 24 hours if she violated the contract. She apparently failed to notify him after exposing the win to his dad and stepmother over the phone.

John Doe is now searching for out who else she may have told.

The court documents argue that the unauthorized disclosure of the lottery win has triggered John Doe "permanent injury."

John Doe is looking for a minimum of $100,000 in damages for each infraction of the NDA, in addition to lawyer costs and court expenses.
