AKRON, Ohio - - A 15-year-old middle-schooler missing since Thursday has been found safe in
Chicago, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
Maria Maaz-Ba, 15, a Twinsburg City trainee who left school on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and never arrived home, was believed to be in the
Chicago area, Summit County investigators said last week.
Authorities because city discovered the woman unhurt on Tuesday, March 5, according to an update. Police expect to launch more information quickly.
Authorities stated Maaz-Ba left R.B. Chamberlin Middle School in Twinsburg at about 2:30 p.m. that day when school discharge - - however she didn't get on the bus.
Child endangerment case 'worst seen' in officer's career
Monitoring footage reviewed by the school district showed Maaz-Ba strolling previous Twinsburg High School, down Ravenna Road. She was last seen by cams near to the Twinsburg authorities and fire departments.
County authorities introduced an investigation, signed up with by Twinsburg authorities, the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to the release.
