More support coming for former Bitwise employees

FRESNO, Calif. (BNN)-- Months after Bitwise suddenly shut down, there is more support coming for former workers in Fresno County.
Tuesday early morning, the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board announced a $2.3 million grant from the state'& #x 27; s Employment Development Department.
The funds will be utilized for a Bitwise Redeployment Center in the former Bitwise Building on Van Ness.
There will likewise be access to both service and personal resources to get those previous workers on a path that finest suits their requirements.
During a news conference, state and local leaders dealt with the challenges those staff members have faced.
Another $1 million will go to supporting previous apprentices.
State Center Community College District will deal with individuals who had apprenticeships through Bitwise to find them new opportunities.
