Most pricey houses offered in Franklin, Delaware counties in February.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - - The top house offered in Franklin County last month went for $1.96 million on Valentine's Day, while the top home in Delaware County went for $1.5 million.

NBC4 examined daily home sale records from the Franklin and Delaware County auditor's offices and filtered for "one family houses" so as not to consist of things like homes, duplexes or unrelated land purchases.

Excluding transfers for $0, 941 single-family home purchases were made in Franklin County in December. The average rate was $324,614 and the mean cost was $249,900. In Delaware County, 121 single-family house purchases were made. The average price was $471,811 and the typical rate was $417,473.
