Amarillo, TX – New York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley traded his basketball jersey for a hammer this week, surprising locals with an unannounced visit to support Triumph Church Ministries’ latest community project. The rising NBA star rolled up his sleeves to help construct a new facility that will serve underprivileged families across the Texas Panhandle region.
Witnesses described Quickley working alongside volunteers for nearly eight hours in 90-degree heat. "He didn’t want special treatment," said Pastor Derrick Wilson. "When we broke for lunch, he insisted everyone eat together under the same tent." The facility will house:
