In a press conference on Monday at the
Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, AG Stein announced an examination into the site.
RealPage sells data products that help residential or commercial property supervisors use statistical models about lease and real estate agreements in the location to create a lease amount to charge potential renters.
This investigation is checking out whether RealPage uses delicate and non-public competitive data as a part of its modeling, which would violate anti-trust laws.

Canary also apparently collected advance payments for work it didn't total and left substandard work that was hazardous and did not fulfill code.
