CLEVELAND – – Audrey Holtzman and her household are anxiously tracking Idalia.
" It's a little eerie. It's certainly the calm prior to the storm," stated Holtzman.
This Northeast Ohio native moved her household to
Tampa, Florida from Twinsburg two years ago.
" In our area of
Tampa, they are more worried about the storm rise than a direct hit as of today. But that might change," stated Holtzman.
The Holtzman household resides in the 2nd evacuation zone so Audrey and Doug chose to ride the storm out.
" We did the same thing with Ian. It's more difficult often to leave because often you can't get back in," stated Holtzman.
Floridians living in vulnerable locations along the northwest coast have actually been purchased to load up and leave.

Hurricane Idalia is projected to hit overnight with sustained winds of approximately 120 mph.
"Everything occurs so quickly. You hear whistling winds, you see the water rise. When the kids see that, they certainly get nervous and nervous," stated Holtzman.
Holtzman stated lots of school districts along the Gulf Coast are closed through a minimum of Wednesday. Several institution of higher learnings are also closed, including the University of
Tampa and University of South Florida.
