On Good Friday, Redlands church reenacts Passion of Jesus

A reenactment of the Passion, illustrating the arrest, trial, and crucifixion of Jesus Christ was staged Friday, April 7, at a Redlands church.

The multilingual play, called" Via Crucis," or the Way of the Cross, gave audiences an opportunity to assess the significance of the Passion. The cast included Diego Renderos as Jesus, Adrian Renderos as Pontius

Pilate, Cynthia Velazquez as Claudia, Pilate's partner; Marcelo Escobar as Herodes; Rafael Laguna as Caifas; Juan Rivera as Anàs; and Raúl Morales as Nicodemus.
