Authorities are examining after a shooting eliminated a 13-year-old and left another teen hospitalized in Orange County.
A suspect, Raymond Mario Jimenez, 27, was jailed in connection to the fatal incident,
Santa Ana Police revealed Wednesday.
The shooting happened on June 5 near the location of 900 West Bishop Street in
Santa Ana around 12:17 p.m.
Arriving officers found two victims at the scene-- a 13-year-old kid lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot injury on his upper torso and a 16-year-old boy in a nearby home, also with a gunshot injury on his upper torso.
A third victim, a 13-year-old young boy, lay near the scene however stayed unharmed, police said. The hurt teenagers were rushed to a local health center for treatment.
