Rancho Cucamonga asks for grace and has a hard time to leave as a larger classmate whips him with a belt.
Now, the child's parents are demanding action and responsibility.
The hazing occurrence purportedly took place on Oct. 11 inside the boys' locker space and involved numerous football players.
" One of the kids comes behind him and begins choke-holding him," the victim's mom, Cassandra, told BNN's Chip Yost on Friday. Stop!
The video quickly circulated throughout the school. Video reveals two football players hazing a third inside the Los Osos High School young boys' locker room.
Initially, Cassandra states her 16-year-old boy got in trouble for the incident and was implicated of "horseplay" together with the other gamers.
It wasn't up until days later that school administrators, she says, reversed course.
" I need those kids off the premises, and I require the school to make this a major deal so that other kids ... this won't take place to them," says Cassandra.
In a declaration, the superintendent of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District insists they are taking the hazing incident seriously.
" We were deeply troubled when we became mindful of the occurrence and started an immediate investigation," stated Superintendent Mathew Holton. "The district does not endure hazing or bullying of any kind and will constantly take proper restorative steps (consisting of disciplinary action) when informed of such occurrences."
What those measures are, or will be, is still unclear.
Cassandra states her objective is to secure other trainees from suffering the same fate as her kid.
" All these kids need a voice," she states.
