CLEVELAND-- Several regional law enforcement authorities state they are hopeful the new Northeast Ohio Crime Gun Intelligence Center will assist them lock up more violent crooks.
Dozens of regional officers were at the new center in
Cleveland Tuesday exploring the facility with U.S. Attorney General Merrick
Garland.
" I believe this will assist us in our prosecutions and investigations," stated Euclid Police Chief Scott Meyer. "Our officers have taken a lot of guns off the streets and this will definitely assist us get proof. We likewise need our local judges to offer proper sentences for violent bad guys."
The center is a centralized police center that focuses solely on examining and avoiding gun violence in local neighborhoods.
