A warrant has actually been issued for the arrest of a guy suspected of fatally stabbing a colleague at a Las Vegas sushi dining establishment.
Jose Vasquez, 38, was at first bought to have no contact with the colleague whose throat he was presumed of slashing, according to court records. Vasquez was launched on $20,000 bail after the Feb. 15 attack and ordered to regularly report to authorities.
After the unknown victim died, district attorneys upgraded a charge versus Vasquez to murder on March 14, however court records suggest Vasquez had not been standing for court or reporting to authorities.
A warrant was provided for his arrest March 22, and an initial hearing scheduled for April 20 did not move forward since Vasquez had actually not been jailed. The warrant was exceptional as of Friday.
Vasquez is presumed of stabbing his co-worker with a large knife after he was asked to assist clean up the kitchen at Hokaido Sushi, 6015 S. Fort Apache Road, according to an arrest report from the Metropolitan Police Department.
The hurt colleague, whose name was redacted in the arrest report, was at first listed in important condition after undergoing 2 hours of surgery. Physicians at University Medical Center informed cops after the stabbing that the victim had a brain bleed.
His name was not instantly released by the Clark County coroner's workplace Friday.
