boygenius is the modern supergroup including Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker-- each indie darlings under their own names. Combining forces, the three singer-songwriters balance over elegiac lyrics and a cinematic production.

The trio launched their most recent-- and extremely prepared for-- task, the record, to a distinctively devoted fan base, and the critically well-known album, with the standout track "Me & & My Dog," ended a five-year hiatus after their self-titled EP..

The album varies from the driving and symphonic instrumentals of boygenius's most played song "Not Strong Enough" to the disrobed and intimate 3 part harmonies on "Without You Without Them.".

In the years since, as all 3 artists grew on their own, the excitement surrounding the return of boygenius escalated. In January, the group was included on the cover of Rolling Stone, duplicating the magazine's iconic 1994 Nirvana cover.

Selling out stadiums, boygenius is on tour this summer and headlines Bend's Hayden Homes Amphitheater July 30.

The trio is signed up with by powerhouse pop feeling Carly Rae Jepsen and the up and coming indie rock and "tenderpunk" band illuminati hotties fronted by Sarah Tudzin. While lots of may recognize Jepsen from her smash hit "Call Me Maybe," the artist's album Emotion cemented her, in critic's eyes, as the "queen of pop." illuminati hotties, fresh off a tour, provides unique pop hits like "( You're Better) Than Ever" off Kiss Year Frenemies and "Pool Hopping" off Let Me Do One More to psychological and truthful love songs like "The Sway.".

boygenius comes to Oregon on Sunday, July 30, at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend. Joined by Carly Rae Jepsen and illuminati hotties, doors open at 4:30 pm with music starting at 5:45 pm. Tickets are basic admission on the lawn and can be purchased through the Hayden Homes Amphitheater.
