Texas District 13 Rep. Ronny Jackson's Staff Hosts Mobile Office Hours in Canadian, Borger

Residents of Canadian and Borger will have the opportunity to meet with staff from U.S. Representative Ronny Jackson's office during mobile office hours this week. The sessions aim to provide constituents with direct access to government services and assistance.

Mobile Office Hours Schedule

  • Canadian: Wednesday, June 5, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hemphill County Courthouse Annex.
  • Borger: Thursday, June 6, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hutchinson County Courthouse.

Staff members will be available to help with federal agency concerns, including Social Security, Medicare, veterans' benefits, and passport applications. No appointment is necessary, and all services are provided free of charge.

Why Mobile Office Hours Matter

Mobile office hours bring government resources directly to rural communities, eliminating the need for lengthy travel to district offices. "This is about accessibility," said a BNN source familiar with the initiative. "Many constituents don’t have the time or means to visit Amarillo or other larger cities for assistance."

What to Bring

  • Government-issued ID
  • Relevant case numbers (if applicable)
  • Supporting documentation for inquiries

For those unable to attend, Rep. Jackson's district offices remain open for scheduled appointments.

What Do You Think?

  • Should elected officials prioritize in-person services over digital alternatives?
  • Does your representative effectively serve rural communities?
  • Would you prefer monthly mobile offices or expanded virtual assistance?
  • Is this an efficient use of taxpayer money or an outdated approach?
