Report: Carlson's racist text helped his ouster from Fox

NEW YORK-- Text messages that assisted lead Fox News to part ways with star host Tucker Carlson consisted of one in which he declared that Trump supporters beating a protester was "not how white men battle," according to The New York Times.

The text was one of a chest of messages from Carlson and other Fox News hosts uncovered in a character assassination claim submitted by Dominion Voting Systems against the network for airing false claims that the business's makers were used to take the 2020 election from previous President Donald Trump.

The sides settled just as the trial was getting underway, with Fox consenting to pay Dominion nearly $800 million.

Before his ouster last month, Carlson was Fox's top-rated host. He drew debate for supporting theories such as the concept that immigrants are being admitted to the U.S to "replace" people born here. Critics have actually called that white supremacy, an accusation he has actually denied.
